By Bus:

a. From Howrah: Take bus number 12C/1A.  Get down at the last stop (Konchowki) and walk back for about 5 minutes. (They might even drop you right in front of our gate if you ask them.)

b. From Esplanade (Dharmatala): Take one of the long distance buses passing through Diamond Harbour Road, get down at Poilan Hat and take a ​​shared auto towards Amtola. They can drop you in front of Dhyan Ashram (about 400 meters after 'German factory').

By App Taxy

Take Ola or Uber from anywhere in Kolkata. Dhyan Ashram Retreat House is on Google Maps.

 

By Train:

a. Come to Howrah station by train and then follow 'a' above.

b. If you are taking a meter-taxy, Dhyan Ashram is on Diamong Harbour Road, beyond Joka and Indian Institute of Management (IIM), about 1 km after Poilan Hat (Refer to the Google maps below).  Do this only if you are familiar with Kolkata.  Otherwise please take a pre-paid taxy.

c. Take a pre-paid taxy to Joka Management IIM (it may even be available till Poilan Hat) from the booths just outside the station.  When you reach Joka Management (or Poilan Hat), ask the taxy driver to drive ahead on the same road for another 3.5 kms from Management (1 km from Poilan Hat).  Dhyan Ashram is on the left, after a big factory (known as German Factory).  You may have to pay an additional Rs 100 / 150 for the extra distance.

 

By Air:

Take a pre-paid taxy to Joka IIM (from counters inside the airport area).  Then follow (c) above.
